In the evening, the Bollywood star went back online with all of her previous posts intact, sharing a motion poster for the highly-anticipated Hindi remake of The Good Wife. Unfortunately, Kajol’s recent promotional stunt didn’t go as planned, resulting in a heavy backlash. Perhaps that is the reason the hashtag #ShameonKajolHotstar is currently trending on Twitter, with many people expressing their disappointment over her actions.
One Instagram user commented that not all publicity is good, while another expressed concern about Kajol using social media in a selfish way for PR purposes taking fans for granted. On the other hand, the ‘The Trail’ series promises to be a gripping courtroom drama, set to premiere on June 12th as part of the #HotstarSpecials lineup.
