Telugu comedian Saptagiri has announced his intention to enter politics and has hinted at the possibility of contesting in the upcoming general elections in Andhra Pradesh. During a media interaction in Chittoor on Monday, Saptagiri confirmed that he has received offers from political parties in the state and expressed his admiration for TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, describing him as a visionary with a strong developmental agenda.
Regarding his political entry, Saptagiri stated that there might be some good news within the next 10 to 15 days. He also mentioned that the decision to contest elections would be determined by party leaders, emphasizing his willingness to fulfill any responsibilities entrusted to him with sincerity.
When asked about his plans for the film industry after entering politics, Saptagiri clarified that he has no intentions of quitting films. He believes that cinema has played a significant role in connecting him with the people and politics, and he intends to continue acting in movies even after joining the political arena. Saptagiri, who hails from Irala, expressed his commitment to working for the betterment of the people in Chittoor.
Meanwhile, Saptagiri’s upcoming film ‘Gold Man’ is expected to release later this month, offering audiences another opportunity to enjoy his comedic talents on the big screen.
