Custody’s Failure Pushed Chaitanya Into A Dilemma

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s career is in the doldrums after he scored back-to-back disasters with Thank You and Custody. He is yet to sign his next project. Naga Chaitanya has two projects in the lineup but is confused about which film to be taken on the floors first.

Chay is holding talks with directors Chandoo Mondeti and Rahul Sankrityan. Chandoo is writing a period love story based in Gujarat. Geetha Arts will bankroll the project. Chay liked the idea and gave his nod as well. But Chandoo is yet to prepare the full-bound script.

On the other side, Rahul prepared the bound script long back and is waiting for Chay’s call. But after Thank You and Custody’s failures, Chay wants to recheck everything before he takes a film on the floors.

On one side, there is Chandoo who scored a pan-India super hit with Karthikeya 2. On the other side, there is Rahul who scored decent hits like Taxiwaala and Shyam Singha Roy. We have to see which film Chay will take on the floors first.
