The drug nexus of the Telugu film industry took a new turn. Popular producer KP Choudhary, who bought the Telugu rights of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali, was arrested by the police in a drug racket case. The Cyberabad Police took Choudhary into their custody and seized cocaine from him.
According to the reports, KP Choudhary lived in Goa for the last few months. The Hyderabad police found out about his connection with the drug racket while investigating the nexus.
Immediately, they arrested him and seized cocaine. More details about the arrest are yet to be known. An official statement from the police department is expected to be out soon.
This is not the first time a Tollywood celebrity has been arrested in a drug racket case. Earlier, we have seen the likes of Puri Jagannath, Charmme, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Mumaith Khan, Navdeep, Nandu, Tarun, and Tanish getting questioned by the police in connection with drug racketing.
