‘Hanuman’ Won’t Take The Risk Of Adipurush!

Adipurush is receiving huge collections and heavy criticism from the audience. Keeping aside the mediocre graphics in 2D, the film is getting bashed for tampering with Ramayana in the name of ‘modernization’. There are many scenes in the movie which are altered from the original Valmiki Ramayana.

Especially, the Ravan character has been completely changed and was made a dark lord in Adipurush. Audiences couldn’t digest these alterations and opined that these changes spoiled the true essence of Ramayana.

The result of Adipurush is now raising questions about another upcoming mythological film, Hanuman. Directed by Prashanth Varma, this movie features Teja Sajja as the lead hero. People are wondering if Hanuman also turns out to be a ‘modernized’ version of Lord Hanuman.

However, Prashanth Varma denied all these rumours. He said that they didn’t take the risk of modernizing Hanuman’s character. He stated that Hanuman showcases Anjaneya as we know him since childhood. He further added that his team worked on Hanuman’s character sketch for more than a year.

Hanuman is currently in the post-production stage. It is slated for a worldwide release later this year.
