Did Pooja Hegde Lose Three Flicks In A Row?

Dusky siren Pooja Hegde’s career started on a flop note in almost all the tinsel towns, but then, years later, her bikini stunt and glamorous treat in “DJ Duvvada Jagannadham” made her a sought after siren in Tollywood. She became the numero uno star with almost all the leading heroes picking her up. Here goes the twist though.

Last year, her big ticket movies like Radhe Shyam, Beast, Acharya and Cirkus have flopped in Telugu as well as Hindi circuits, and it looks like that took a toll on her career. Though heroines are not attributed with flops these days, somehow, Pooja lost three projects back to back if reports are to be believed.

Firstly she got this mightily hyped Jana Gana Mana with Vijay Devarakonda, but that got scrapped after the flop show of Liger. And then, we have these rumours popping up from Guntur Kaaram, where it is said that she got replaced. They say that Sreeleela switched to the main heroine role from being a second lead, while Samyuktha Menon is joining as the second lead. That’s not all.

In fact, Pooja Hegde is the other leading lady of Ustaad Bhagat Singh too, but then, Sreeleela was the one announced as the main lead so far, and there is no sound of this dusky senior starlet anywhere. One wonders if Pooja lost three projects back to back, or just she lost JGM due to cancellation and other projects are still on the cards. Wait for some official confirmations.
