SPY Isn’t A Biopic Of Subhash Chandra Bose

Nikhil’s upcoming film SPY isn’t just about the mystery surrounding the death of freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose, but there’s a lot more to it than that. Directed by Garry BH, this is the first film for Nikhil to play a RAW agent.

We have seen several films on Netaji. While most of them are biographical films, some are based on specific events in his life. But SPY is not a biopic and it is said to be different from all of them. Though the film has an underlying message about Netaji, it showcases something never seen before.

The team has done wide research to pen the script. They met several historians and had conversations with retired raw agents etc. They affirm that they haven’t tampered with history. Their focus was to highlight many grey areas. Nearly 90 percent of the content in the film is said to be real.

Produced by K Rajashekhar Reddy, SPY is set for release in a couple of days.
