Vijay Knew It On Liger Release Day Morning: Anand Deverakonda

Liger is one of the biggest disasters in recent times. Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood launch went on to become an embarrassment due to Puri Jagannath’s Liger debacle.

Vijay’s fame of Arjun Reddy already reached Bollywood by then and a lot of actors including the new-gen actresses were crushing on Vijay. Puri’s bounceback with Ismart Shankar and Vijay’s fame was expected to leave the audience in awe with Liger, but it went the other way around.

Vijay never talked about his Liger after it was released, but his brother Anand Deverakonda opened up on the reaction of Vijay Deverakonda to the result. In a recent interview, Anand said that Vijay understood the result of the movie from the early morning shows and he did not want to force it on the audience with more promotions.

Anand said that Vijay stopped worrying about Liger’s failure and the efforts he put in for the movie, but instead, he started preparing for ‘Kushi’ on August 25th evening. Anand underlined that even if Vijay’s movie fails, no one will point at the efforts he poured in.
