Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has been tested positive for Corona Virus. Gadkari is currently under self isolation. 63-year-old Gadkari is a senior BJP leader, former national president of BJP and presently serving the Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping & MSMEs. Gadkari was tested for Covid after he was unwell and weak.
“Yesterday, I was feeling weak and consulted my Doctor. During the course of my check up, I have been tested COVID 19 positive. I am at present doing well with the blessings and good wishes of all. I have isolated myself,” Nitin Gadkari took to Twitter and shared the news.
“I request everyone who has come in my contact to be careful and follow the protocol. Stay safe,” Gadkari asked his close associates, followers who came in touch with him to get tested and stay safe.
Earlier on Aug 2nd, Union Home Minister and former national president of BJP Amit Shah was tested positive for Covid. Shah later tested negative. However, Shah has been suffering from breathing difficulties and being treated at AIIMS.
