Trailer Talk: Arjun Das Tries A Cruel Role Again

After appearing in the film ‘Kaithi’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, actor Arjun Das rose to prominence. His powerful eyes, terrific acting and striking bass voice have become an instant hit with movie lovers.

For that reason, he is being offered a wide range of films in the South right now. And the actor is becoming part of many big films like Pawan Kalyan’s OG on one side, while he is doing solo-led films as well on the other side.

One such film that has Arjun Das in the lead is ‘Aneethi’, which is directed by the talented Vasanthabalan who has carved out movies like Veyil, Angadi Theru and Kaaviya Thalaivan in Tamil.

This new film happens to be the thrilling and cruel story of a delivery boy, played by Arjun Das and the issues he faces, before taking up a crime journey.

No doubt, the role looks quite cruel, as Arjun Das first appears as a guy suffering at the hands of clients, then gets beaten by police, and finally starts hunting down his detractors. His intense acting and Vasanthabalan’s gripping narrative are bringing huge hype to the movie through this trailer.

However, with Arjun Das repeatedly doing similar action-centric cruel roles, one might not find him refreshing after a certain point, and that is the thing he has to watch out for.

While his sparkling adaptation of the character is coming out live in his films, surely he needs more than this cruelty, bloodshed and action elements if he has to prove himself as a hero who could attract huge footfalls to his movies.
