‘Without a negative, There’s no positive’

Prabhas’ next movie is titled “Kalki 2898AD,” and the makers unveiled the teaser recently at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in the US, with actors Kamal Haasan and Prabhas present during the panel discussion. Everyone is excited with Kamal Haasan coming on board to play a key role in the movie.

Kamal plays a negative role in the film, and he shared the reason behind accepting this role, stating that in analogous cinema, the negative role is as important as the positive role, as it creates a balance in the film.

“The reason I accepted this film is because I come from analogous cinema. Without a negative, there’s no positive. So, a negative role is an important role in a film,” he said.

This is a unique approach by Kamal Haasan in picking characters. Earlier, he played negative roles in Dasavataram, and Aalavandhan. They generated a good response and it’s been a while did Kamal get a chance to unleash full potential through a negative role and he seems to have convinced when Project K came his way.

Amitabh Bachchan, who also plays a pivotal role in the movie, joined the event via a video call. He praised Kamal Haasan and said that the veteran actor is much greater than all of them.
