Varun Tej’s Most Expensive Film Titled Matka

Mega Prince Varun Tej will be joining forces with director Karuna Kumar of Palasa fame for his 14th and most expensive movie to be bankrolled by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala under the banner of Vyra Entertainments.

The periodic drama to be made at a Pan India level has been launched in a majestic way with a pooja ceremony. The makers revealed the film’s title Matka through an intriguing poster. It transports us back to the 70s with the objects depicting that time and environment.

The story spans 24 years, thus we can see age variation in Varun Tej’s character. He indeed will appear in different avatars in the movie set in Vizag’s backdrop. The story is inspired by real incidents which stunned the country.

Matka will have Meenakshi Chowdary essaying Varun Tej’s love interest and Nora Fatehi in a special role. The Bollywood actress will also be doing a song in it.

Coming to the technical crew, GV Prakash Kumar scores soundtracks and Priyaseth will crank the camera.
