Interestingly, three new movies with a money backdrop storyline have been announced within a short span of 24 hours. “Matka” with Varun Tej, “D51” with Dhanush in Sekhar Kammula’s combination, and “Lucky Bhaskar” with Dulquer Salmaan as the hero are the three films following this theme.
Moreover, all three movies are set in the periodical genre.
In Tollywood, such instances of movies sharing a similar concept have been seen since the vintage period. Some of them have succeeded, while others have faced disappointment at the box office.
The fate of these three films with the money backdrop remains to be seen, and movie enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to witness how these projects will perform in terms of both critical acclaim and commercial success.
On the other hand, in the past, movies like “Temper” and “Pataas” opened with similar plotlines and turned out to be super successful.
