Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s mass power is known, and is proved again now with the collections of “BRO”. Despite the mixed talk, political attacks in Andhra Pradesh and the incessant rains that have thrown life into chaos in Nizam, the film is showcasing its potential. Here’s what the weekend collections are like.
In Nizam alone, though #BRO has seen a slight dip in collections compared to Saturday, the film collected a humongous ₹4.2+ Cr on Sunday and took the first weekend Nizam collections to a ‘share’ of almost ₹17+ Cr. If we include all other regions, the total collection stands at around 55+ crores of ‘share’ from all the territories.
For a film with mixed talk, that’s a sensational collection if we have to say and it recovered almost 60% of the valuation of the theatrical rights. The theatrical rights are valued at ₹95 crores, while People Media Factory released the film on their own in 30% of the local territories, and a solo release in Overseas. So, how much share the film will recover from Monday stands like an acid test.
Directed by Samudhrakani with screenplay-dialogues written by Trivikram, BRO has Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam putting up a good show, while Powerstar’s swag and unmatchable comedy timing stand on the top.
