Megastar’s Acharya Postponed By Two More Months

One of the most awaited upcoming movies is none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya movie which is being helmed by super talented Koratala Siva. However, the film faced the wrath of Covid-19 pandemic like all others and hasn’t got resumed till date.

While the film’s new release date is locked as April 9, 2021, this would be literally possible only if it goes to shooting. Though the amkers of the movie thought of resuming the shoot in June 2020 itself, an increasing number of Covid-19 cases have shocked them. And now, they have thought of going to shoot from 2nd week of September as many star heroes in Bollywood are back to floors, following the safety norms and guidelines advised by Centre for film shoots.

However, Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva are not taking any risk even now, and they are not going to resume the shoot. Reports are coming from mega quarters that the film is not going to floors for two more months. If all goes well, then Acharya might resume shooting from the second week of November but not before that.

Initially the film was supposed to hit cinemas in October 2020 on the eve of Dasara, but then it looks like January 2021 (Sankranthi release) is also not possible even if the shoot resumes as Koratala needs 4-5 months roughtly to wrap the shoot of the movie.

Featuring Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady, the film has Ram Charan playing a cameo while Mani Sharma is scoring music for Chiru’s film after ages.
