Pushpa Sequel: ‘Slow & Steady’ Approach

Allu Arjun and director Sukumar created magic at the box office with their pan-India film Pushpa: The Rise. The film was initially completed hurriedly to meet its deadline. However, after witnessing the true potential of the lead character and the film, the team has decided to take a more meticulous approach for its sequel, “Pushpa 2: The Rule.”

Industry reports suggest that approximately 35%-40% of the shooting for Pushpa 2 has been completed, indicating that the team is diligently working on bringing their vision to life.

Allu Arjun and Sukumar are leaving no stone unturned, focusing on every minute detail to ensure that the film meets its expectations and delivers a thrilling cinematic experience to the audience.

The first installment of Pushpa, released in December 2021, received critical acclaim and immense love from the audience. The film showcased Allu Arjun in a power-packed role as Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler, and left the viewers eagerly awaiting the continuation of the story.

The team is well aware of the massive hype and anticipation surrounding Pushpa 2, and they want to deliver a sequel that surpasses the success of its predecessor. As a result, they are not rushing the production process and are taking the time to ensure that every aspect of the film, from the script to the action sequences and visual effects, is executed to perfection.

Considering the scale and complexity of the project, it is no surprise that the team is aiming for a release in 2024. However, there is an inside opinion that the film may not be ready for a summer 2024 release.

In such a scenario, the team may consider the months of July or August for the release. Alternatively, they might plan for a grand release during the festive season of December 2024.

While fans may have to wait a bit longer to witness Pushpa 2: The Rule on the big screen, it is evident that the team’s commitment to delivering a top-notch film is unwavering.
