Bro Daddy Remake: No Daddy but only BRO?

The Telugu remake of ‘Bro Daddy’ will be led by Megastar Chiranjeevi and he has chosen Kalyan Krishna as the director for this venture. While Meena played the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the original film, it is now said that Trisha will essay a pivotal role in the Telugu version.

The news of Trisha making a re-entry into Telugu cinema has created a buzz among her fans and movie enthusiasts. After spending a considerable amount of time in Tamil cinema, the talented actress is now reportedly set to play a significant role in this project.

However, Sharwanand accepted to be a part of the film and going by the original, he will be seen as Chiranjeevi’s son in the film and technically, it means Trisha plays Sharwanand’s mother.

But, the sources say that multiple major changes are being made to the film’s script and Chiranjeevi will reportedly play Sharwanand’s big brother but not father. In that case, the debate on the age factor will get diminished and Chiru is always successful in playing brother characters.

Initially, Sidhu Jonnalagadda was considered for the role of Sharwanand’s character, but reportedly, he declined the offer. Now, the film is said to have Sharwanand paired opposite Sreeleela. The movie is being produced by Chiranjeevi’s daughter, Sushmita Konidela, and presented by Gold Box Entertainments.

A formal confirmation on the film’s plot and changes is awaited.
