Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s upcoming film “Kushi” has been eagerly awaited by fans. During the trailer launch event of “Kushi” in Hyderabad, Vijay Deverakonda shared some insights about the film’s production process and the challenges they faced concerning the delays, as Samantha was unavailable for the shoot due to health issues.
Despite the delay, Vijay Deverakonda expressed that waiting for Samantha to recover and complete the film was their only option. He emphasized the importance of Samantha’s health and contribution to the film.
Vijay Deverakonda shared, “I don’t think we did something great or potential. I think that was the only option we had. We were okay to wait. We were in no great hurry. For us, she matters, and we all know how much she contributes to the film. Her health matters to us. Everybody was just like we will wait six months or one year.”
He humorously mentioned that at one point, they even considered completing the second half of the film a decade later if needed. He joked about opening an idli stall named “Samantha Idly” during the shoot hiatus, highlighting their lighthearted approach to the situation.
The camaraderie and patience displayed by the team during the challenging period of Samantha’s health issue underscored the strong bond and teamwork that contributed to the making of “Kushi.”
Kushi will be hitting the screens on the 1st of September.
