Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest release ‘Jailer’ is off to a flying start at the box office. Having met with positive reviews, ‘Jailer’ posted close to Rs 90 crore on the first day (including all languages) and that’s a record that comes second in Rajini’s career. With a long weekend ahead, the film is for sure going to have a sensational run.
‘Jailer’ was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and he disclosed that he planned a cameo role for the Telugu version with none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna.
“Initially Balakrishna sir was in my mind but I was unable to design and fit the character into the script properly. That’s how it did not materialize,” said director Nelson.
That was a missed opportunity for fans because seeing two massive superstars on the silver screen and going all blazing would have been a visual feast. Also NBK had never done a cameo role in his career and if this had happened, it would have been more special and for fans, it would have been a festival sort of.
