Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo is the next big-ticket film from Kollywood. Lokesh Kanagaraj, who delivered a kick-ass actioner with Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, is calling the shots for this much-anticipated gangster drama. As the film is slated for release on October 19th, the makers have kick-started the promotions so early to amplify the buzz among trade circles and moviegoers.
It is well known that the team has been giving birthday treats to some of the notable artists who essayed significant roles in this film. After giving a sneak peek into Sanjay Dutt’s role a few weeks ago, the team came up with a small glimpse today for Action King Arjun on the eve of his birthday.
Going by the 41-second video snippet posted by Lokesh Kanagaraj via his Twitter account, Arjun Sarja plays a menacing and violent role in this action saga. He looks brutal and intense in the glimpse. Arjun makes a wild entry in a vintage car and enters a huge godown where scores of people witness his carnage on a person. He slays the person and turns with a fiery look while smoking a cigar. Anirudh Ravichander’s pulsating score adds more intensity to the scene and Arjun’s fearsome avatar.
Leo has been hitting the headlines quite often because of its mind-blowing business offers in various territories where Vijay commands a solid market. The film is expected to take a sensational opening because of the strong hype.
Leo stars Trisha Krishnan as the female lead. Seven Screen Studio is bankrolling the film on a grand scale.
