Nani’s Next: Tamil Director? Or Telugu Director?

After the super success of “Dasara” at the box office, natural star Nani kept himself in this big league but then the films he has chosen to rock are something else.

His next movie happens to be a family drama titled “Hi Nanna” which is carved by a newcomer and features Mrunal Thakur in the lead. And here’s an interesting thing going on regarding his next project after this.

Apparently, Nani has initially agreed to do a film with director Vivek Athreya who has earlier carved “Ante Sundaraniki” with him.

However, the film hasn’t taken off as the hero wants a bit of high-octane script rather than a sensible comedy that this Brochevarevura director usually carves out.

That led Nani to listen to a script from a Tamil director who has recently delivered a hit with a leading hero. Though details are kept in the wrap, Nani wants to take off this project they say. However, with Vivek Athreya coming back to him again with another story, now Nani is in a fix.

Meanwhile, Nani has director Srikanth Odela of Dasara fame preparing another rugged story for him and that will be bankrolled by the same production house that brought this combo earlier.

Whether to do a Tamil director’s movie after Hi Nanna, and then move to Srikanth Odela’s film, or do Vivek Athreya’s movie and ignore the Tamil director’s project is Nani’s confusion right now if reports are to be believed. Let’s see what happens.
