Ever since the first glimpse of “Kalki 2898 AD” is out, Superstar Prabhas’ fans are quite delighted about the world they are going to witness in this Nag Ashwin directorial. And the addition of universal hero Kamal Haasan to the already stellar cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone has raised the expectations bar by kilometres. Here’s another interesting buzz we are hearing now.
During the filming of Kalki 2898 AD, when it was still being called “Project K”, the likes of Nani and Dulquer Salman visited the sets and got amazed by it. While Nani is the hero of director Nag Ashwin’s debut film Evade Subramanyam, Dulquer happens to be the hero of his second film “Mahanati”. And it looks like both of them are said to be doing a small cameo in this futuristic sci-fi movie if reports are to be believed.
When quizzed about the same recently Dulquer has given a twisted answer saying great things about Nagi and the film, but hasn’t denied or confirmed his presence in Prabhas’ Kalki. While Nani is unavailable for a comment regarding the same, they say that even the director’s good friend Vijay Devarakonda might do a small cameo in the film. Either one of these cameos is official, surely the film lovers are going to get an extra treat for sure.
While everyone is waiting for clarity regarding these cameos, the makers are busy carving the balance work and taking care of the visual effects of Kalki 2898 AD whose release date might be somewhere around in Summer 2024.
