SS Rajamouli brings the National Awards home as RRR bagged the top honours this year. 69th National Film Awards 2023 winners list is out and this time, NTR and Ram Charan starrer RRR has ruled the awards.
The film was taking the global by storm by bagging several prestigious awards in the West. In fact, RRR made India when they bagged an Oscar award. The film won the Best Action Direction (King Solomon) award. Along with that, they also won for Best Visual Effects and V Srinivas Mohan received an award for the same.
Whereas RRR also bagged Best Music Direction which was awarded to legendasy composer M.M. Keeravani. Best Male Playback Singer (Kaala Bhairava for ‘Komuram Bheemudo’). Incidentally, this might be the first time for a father-son duo in Telugu cinema, Keeravani and Kaala Bhairava, to win national awards the same year.
The global sensation Naatu Naatu created storm everywhere and for this Prem Rakshith Master won Best Choreography award. Well, heartily congratulate the RRR team for winning top honours at the National Film Awards.
