Spicing It Up: When Balayya Used ‘Guntur Kaaram’

One of the upcoming movies that have been in the production pipeline since the start of this year, and started to be engulfed in lots of rumours regarding postponements and call-offs is none other than Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram which is being directed by Wizard of words Trivikram. And other day, none other than Balayya uttered this film’s title, which was a sort of surprise.

Speaking at the Skanda pre-release event, Nandamuri Balakrishna who is never short of words during his speeches, has tried to give a ‘superlative’ for director Boyapati Sreenu.

“Should I call him Palanti Pourusham, Palanati Simha or say, simply Guntur Kaaram; He’s always dedicated and extracts the best of performances from everyone” said Balayya. When he used the superlative “Guntur Kaaram” for Boyapati, the auditorium broke into shouts and whistles.

Usually, superlatives and film titles are aimed at heroes only, but Balayya choosing to give one such ‘title’ to Boyapati Sreenu professes the love he has for the director.

Also, he praised Boyapati for giving him films like Simha, Legend and Akhanda and wished that their union would continue. At another point of time, even Boyapati confirmed that there will be ‘Akhanda 2’ with the Nandamuri ‘Nata Simham’.
