Kartikeya’s ‘Bedurulanka 2012’ enters profit zone in 4 days

‘Bedurulanka 2012′ is now in the hit territory. It took just four days for the dramedy, directed by Clax and starring Kartikeya Gummakonda in the lead, to achieve breakeven worldwide. On Monday, which was its 4th day of release, the movie grossed about Rs 1.30 Cr in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana put together.

The makers are happy that the film has become the 17th Tollywood hit of the year 2023. “This is a clean hit. Thanks to the hold that it is maintaining on the back of positive word of mouth, we are expecting ‘Bedurulanka 2012’ to continue to be the audience’s preference going into the second week as well,” the makers said.

The concept of doomsday and the satirical humour are the key highlights of the movie. The best thing is the comedy and the undercurrent of a message. Protagonist Siva, played by the ‘RX 100’ actor, raises pertinent questions about religious superstitions.
