Chennai Talk: Nayanthara Remuneration Touches New High

Nayanthara, hailed as the “Lady Superstar” in Tamil cinema, boasts a remarkable two-decade-long career. Despite the industry’s natural tendency to reduce opportunities for actresses after marriage, Nayanthara remains an exception, much like Samantha. Her versatility in portraying various roles is widely acknowledged, and directors have unwavering confidence in her ability to handle both glamour and action.

Reports from Chennai Talk suggest that Nayanthara is currently charging a substantial remuneration, rumored to be up to ten crores, with the possibility of an additional crore due to GST. It’s reported that most producers are willing to meet her fee demands.

This is a significant feat, as such remuneration is typically reserved for top-tier male stars. Additionally, Nayanthara’s popularity has transcended regional boundaries, with Hindi directors also approaching her with scripts.

While Nayanthara’s recent blockbuster “Jawaan” may have bolstered her market value, analysts caution that not every film enjoys such success. Her upcoming film alongside Jayam Ravi is set to release on the 28th of this month, and she has two more female-centric projects in the pipeline. However, it’s worth noting that her track record opposite male superstars hasn’t been as remarkable.

Nevertheless, Nayanthara firmly holds her position as a market stalwart, outlasting contemporaries like Trisha, Tamannaah, and Kajal Aggarwal. Her enduring appeal and star power continue to shine bright in the world of cinema.
