Jr NTR, one of the most popular Telugu actors and also the grandson of legendary NTR who established the Telugu Desam Party, has stayed silent on the arrest of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. While TDP fans have been demanding that Tarak make a statement on Naidu’s arrest, it is being heard that the actor got busy with his work.
Many fans have expressed disappointment with NTR’s silence in connection to Naidu’s arrest in the Skill Development Scam by the AP CID. They believe that he should use his influence to speak out against the arrest of a torch-bearer political leader, who also happens to be his uncle. Amidst these happenings, it’s coming out that NTR joined the sets of “Devara” movie which is being carved by Koratala Siva.
It is unclear why NTR has chosen to stay silent on Naidu’s arrest, however, his silence has sparked a debate among his fans about the role of celebrities in politics. Some fans have defended NTR, saying that he is not obligated to make a statement on every political issue though it is about a family member. They argue that he should be allowed to focus on his career.
