Crediting the movie’s success to Anirudh, Rajinikanth mentioned that the first watch of the film gave him an ‘above average’ feel before re-recording. He said that it was Anirudh who took it to the next level to give him and Anirudh’s friend Nelson success. Rajini said, ‘To be frank with you, It was Anirudh who uplifted the film. While the frankness of Rajinikanth is known already, his latest comments to praise Anirudh seem to have hurt the fans of the director Nelson. Rajinikanth’s comments on Beast’s failure at another event also have not gone well with them. Many opine that it is good that Rajinikanth scored a blockbuster nearly after a decade, but his statements discrediting the director for it is something pleasant.
