Gopichand Reunites With Flop Director After 8 Years

Hit combinations are often repeated in Tollywood because those projects garner strong buzz even before they materialise. Most of the time, it is a director and a hero who previously delivered a big hit come forward to collaborate again to continue the success streak.

One such hit combination that is likely to take shape soon is of actor Gopichand and director Radha Krishna. They are reuniting after eight years. The duo previously worked for an action entertainer ‘Jil’ which released in 2015 and went on to become a good hit at the box office. UV Creations produced it.

After scoring success with Jil, Radha Krishna hogged the limelight and he later bagged a golden opportunity to direct Baahubali star Prabhas in Radhe Shyam. Unfortunately, the romantic entertainer met with an outright rejection from moviegoers. On the other side, Gopichand is also going through a lean patch as he was unable to score a proper hit after Jil.

As per our sources, Radha Krishna prepared a script and narrated it to Gopichand. It is based on smuggling backdrop with gripping premise. Renowned production house UV Creations is going to pool money bags for this project. The formal launch is expected to take later this year and the regular shooting will commence early 2024. It will made on a solid budget with lavish production values.
