For the first time in Hyderabad, 18-year-old buildings were successfully demolished on September 23 morning. The 7 & 8 buildings of Raheja Mindspace were dismantled in 6-8 seconds.
The four-story buildings were taken down in order to build new structures. Mindspace Business Parks REIT issued a statement that says this feat of engineering has the building being safely and efficiently brought down in 6 – 8 seconds, which usually takes 3-4 months in a traditional demolition.
Edifice Engineering and Je Demolition got the contract to demolish and they executed it successfully.
