‘Salaar’ back in shoot mode without Prabhas!

The eagerly anticipated film “Salaar” is expected to hit the screens on the 28th of this month. But, the film has now been postponed to the following year. The reason cited by the makers for this delay is the ongoing post-production work. However, recent reports suggest that the shooting of the film is yet to be completed.

An eight-day schedule without Prabhas has recently commenced in Hyderabad. This revelation was unexpected, as the makers had previously indicated that the shooting had concluded, causing disappointment among fans. But, it looks like the team is doing some patch work which is common for any film.

Most of the scenes being shot in the schedule are not related to the lead actor, and this development implies that the film’s release will experience further delays. The trade is already in an opinion that the film will not be released this year.

Director Prashanth Neel is going to take some more time before arriving at clarity on when to release the film as he wants a solo release across India.

The film features Shruti Haasan as the female lead and Prithviraj in a prominent villainous role. Hombale Films are bankrolling the project.
