Charan Slightly Injured, But Not On #GC Sets

Acclaimed director Shankar Shanmugam is bearing the brunt of the delay caused to Ram Charan’s upcoming social entertainer ‘Game Changer’. In the making for nearly two years, the much-anticipated film has been facing numerous production challenges due to various issues.

Though Shankar is not the sole reason for the inordinate delay, he has been unnecessarily trolled by Mega fans. Even for the delay caused due to the unavailability of Charan, fingers are being pointed at Shankar. The recent schedule which was supposed to get underway in Hyderabad has been postponed because Charan suffered a minor injury and expressed his inability to attend the shoot.

As soon as the news came out about the cancellation of the shoot, fans started venting ire on Shankar. It is true that Shankar is taking much longer than expected time to complete the film, but Charan also took multiple breaks in between due to his other professional commitments and personal responsibilities. So, it is quite unfair to troll Shankar every now and then without knowing the exact cause of the delay.

As per the latest reports, the fresh schedule will commence on October 6th. Shankar is planning to complete the entire shooting formalities by early Summer and release the film in mid-2024.
