Kajal: A Surprise Package or Routine Character?

Kajal Aggarwal’s fans are highly disappointed over the promotional strategy for her next movie “Bhagavanth Kesari.” Their discontent stemmed from what they perceived as a lack of attention given to Kajal Aggarwal in the film’s promotional materials, while another actress, Sreeleela, received more prominent exposure. But, this leads us to an interesting question, “Will Kajal throw a surprise in the film?”

“Bhagvanth Kesari” is the latest biggie from Kajal as her part was cut down previously from the movie “Acharya.” The fans were unhappy about Kajal’s role being removed but they were contended after the film’s result came. But, they hoped that the actress will make a comeback to success with “Bhagvanth Kesari.” However, she is nowhere to be seen in the film’s promotions currently.

But, this can be considered as a promotional strategy too.

Kajal Aggarwal’s first biggie after marriage is “Bhagvanth Kesari,” and technically, the film marks her second innings. Hence, her role could have been kept under wraps for now as the makers want the audience to feel the thrill on the big screen.

However, the controversy ignited when the film’s makers began sharing promotional content featuring Sreeleela, leading to a backlash from Kajal’s devoted fan base. In fact, Kajal will not be seen in duet songs or romantic tracks with the film’s lead Balakrishna. However, director Anil Ravipudi promises that Kajal’s character carries a prominence in the movie.

On the flip side, some fans are speculating that the team is not promoting Kajal’s role as it carries no significance in the movie and it could just be another character that can be ignored. Some of Kajal Aggarwal’s ardent fans took to social media to express their frustration with the marketing of “Bhagavanth Kesari.”

“With only two weeks left until the release, there has been no substantial promotion of Kajal except for her birthday poster. We are losing interest in the film,” shared a fan on X.

Whatever it may be, at least with this discussion, Kajal is gaining attention and we have to see if the makers are making a note of the same.
