Naga Vamsi: You Liked It, Numbers Are Not An Issue

Ace producer Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainment is known for his eccentric talk at any given time and is quite an elated man as the film “MAD” got decent to rave reviews for its comedy overdose. Sharing his happiness with the media, the producer made an interesting comment on the numbers the film is likely to make.

When the media quizzed, now that the film MAD is on par with the comedy that Jathiratnalu provided, corresponding to his previous comment that he would refund the ticket money if anyone would laugh less than watching a Jathiratnalu through this new film, will it make similar numbers at the box office too, Vamsi made an interesting comment. “You liked the film know? Why do you worry about numbers?” he asked, when the media replied, “As a producer you need numbers know?”, he further added, “Don’t worry about numbers, I’ve already made what I should”.

However, the producer gave some numbers in the end, saying that the morning show in Sudharshan, RTC X Roads collected ₹1 lakh barring the 200 tickets he bought for the team, and for a film full of newcomers this is definitely a good opening. He stated that openings are strong in Hyderabad, Vizag and Bhimavaram as well.
