Photo Story: Is Samantha hospitalized?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu commands a huge fan base in South Cinema. She is currently on a break from work and shared an update about her health on her Instagram stories. The actress posted a photo of herself resting in a hospital bed with drips attached to her hand. The post results in speculations that Samantha has been hospitalized.

However, there seems to be nothing to worry about. Samantha even explained how the medications were helping her recover, as she is undergoing treatment for her auto-immune health condition, Myositis.

In her Instagram post, Samantha tagged a skin and hair clinic called Desire Aesthetics in Hyderabad, suggesting she actively seeks medical treatment to address her health concerns.

“Role of Intravenous nutrition in diseases is primarily given to address nutrional definiencies and offers symptom relief for certain medical conditions. However, it’s essential to note that the IV nutritional therapy alone is not a cure for diseases but can be used as a complementary or supportive treatment in special medical conditions, which needs to be personalised based on condition of the patient by their consulting physician,” revealed Samantha about her health condition.

Following the release of ‘Kushi’, Samantha has been focusing on her well-being and has taken several trips to different destinations. She is yet to announce her next film.
