Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Bhagavanth Kesari” is scheduled for a release on the 19th of this month, and the film’s promotional activities are in full swing. Director Anil Ravipudi is extremely confident of the film’s success. This project marks a significant departure for Anil Ravipudi, primarily known for his successful comedy entertainers. Hence, the film’s success is very important for the director.
“Sarileru Neekevvaru,” one of Anil’s previous works, left an impression that he could deal with actioners, but the particular film also excelled in the comedy part, basking on his strength. However, “Bhagavanth Kesari” presents a different challenge as it stars the veteran actor Balakrishna in a pivotal role and the movie runs more on action and emotion.
Anil directed “Pataas,” “Supreme,” “F2,” and “F3,” which fall under the entertainment category. But this time, Anil deviated from his usual style and attempted something new with Balakrishna in the lead role.
Balakrishna’s fans expect a blend of action and emotion befitting a star of his stature, and the question on everyone’s mind is whether Anil Ravipudi can create that impact. So far, the director has garnered a fair amount of appreciation for the film’s trailer, as it portrays Balayya in a more mature and refined light. The icing on the cake is that Balakrishna plays his age.
The film features Sreeleela and Kajal Aggarwal as the female leads and has been produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi.
