On Sunday, Deepika Padukone gave a sneak peek into her upcoming role in Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated film, “Singham Again.” The actress unveiled two striking images featuring her in police uniform, exuding an aura of authority as she confidently wielded a firearm.

With a fitting caption, Deepika Padukone introduced her character, “Introducing… Shakti Shetty! Singham Again.” Her post immediately set social media abuzz, drawing reactions from numerous celebrities and fans alike.

One of the images posted by the actress portrays her in a rather intense and gritty moment, as she is seen with a revolver pressed against a man’s mouth. In her other hand, she firmly grips his hair, adding to the palpable tension in the scene.

In the second photo shared by Deepika, she brings the pistol closer to her face, her eyes locked onto the camera’s lens.

Director Rohit Shetty, whose signature style of high-octane action and entertaining narratives has gained him a massive following, confirmed Deepika Padukone’s participation in his cop universe during an interview last year.

Their previous collaboration in the 2019 blockbuster “Chennai Express” was well-received, and they recently joined forces once again for the music video “Current Laga” from Shetty’s upcoming project, “Cirkus.”
