Do You Know! Sreeleela Is Anil Ravipudi’s Akka Koothuru

In a first-ever revelation, director Anil Ravipudu stated something that he has never ever shared with everyone. His relationship with star heroine Sreeleela is not just a director and heroine, but he has a family connection too. Speaking with Gulte.com other day, the director along with the sensational starlet made this revelation.

Apparently, Anil’s hometown and Sreeleela’s mother Dr Swarna’s hometown, a village named Ponguluru near Ongole are said to be the same. Though the star heroine was brought up in Bangalore and USA, she used to fly down to her ammamma’s house every year without fail. While shooting for the film Bhagwant Kesari, which is directed by Anil Ravipudi and features Sreeleela as Nandamuri Balakrishna’s daughter, both the director and heroine discussed about their hometowns and found out that they are related.

On the sets, while Sreeleela calls him as ‘director gaaru’ in front of everyone, she calls him ‘maama’ in front of close people. This is because Sreeleela’s mother is a cousin sister of Anil Ravipudi. Well, sometimes you not only meet your heroines on the sets, but your relatives too.
