LEO’s Domination In All-Time Top 5 Kollywood Films In USA

Thalapathy Vijay’s LEO is registering mammoth numbers with the premieres and first-day collections in the USA. LEO took a big leap to sit on top of all Kollywood films in the USA that were released on Thursdays with Wednesday premieres and is in the second position among the top five films with Thursday and Friday releases.

Thursday Releases Only:

1. Leo Day 1 (Thursday Including Wednesday Premieres) – $2,455,952
2. Jailer Day 1 (Thursday including Wednesday Premieres) – $1,569,590

LEO Day registering $2.5 million is a giant feat and the trade analysts believe the record remains untouched until Lokesh Kanagaraj comes up with Vikram 2 or his next with Thalaivar Rajinikanth. The Lokesh and Vijay’s LEO kept Rajini’s Jailer at a distance of almost a million dollars in movies with Thursday releases!

Coming to both Thursday releases and Friday releases, Rajinikanth’s Kabali still stands on top with $2.7 million and LEO almost reached there. The next in the list is Mani Ratnam’s PS1 with $2.1 million followed by PS2 with $1.7 million. The jailer is in the top fifth place.
