‘Mangalavaaram’ Trailer: Intense characters!

Director Ajay Bhupathi of ‘RX 100’ fame is ready to narrate a thrilling, scary story in ‘Mangalavaaram’. The film, which will be released in theatres on November 17 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages, is in the news over its trailer.

The story is set in an ill-fated village where a shattering murder takes place every Tuesday. Multiple characters and most of them are scared for their lives. As Muralidhar Goud’s character says, “The heart is popping out of the mouth”. Ajay Ghosh is bemused and many men run for their lives.

Payal Rajput, presumably an abused and sexually harassed female character, makes a belated and fantastic entry in the trailer. Her love life seems to be on the rocks, and she could well be living with a predator. Chaitanya Krishna and a few other male characters exude angry expressions.

Producers Swati Reddy Gunupathi and Suresh Verma of Mudhra Media Works and Ajay Bhupathi of A Creative Works have produced the thriller, whose trailer is riveting for sure. Composer Ajaneesh Loknath of ‘Kantara’ and ‘Virupaksha’ fame is right on the money.

Earlier, a romantic song titled ‘Emayyindho Emito’ was released. It was shot on Payal and Ajmal Amir. Sritej and Nandita Swetha have pivotal parts in the film. With Dasarathi Shivendra as the director of photography, the film is a pan-India release. Edited by Madhav Kumar Gullapally, the film’s art direction and production design are by Mohan Talluri and Raghu Kulkarni, respectively. Real Satish and Prithvi are the fight masters. Raja Krishnan, a recipient of the National Award, is its sound designer.
