53 Yr Old Telugu Actress Attends Degree Entrance Test

Popular comedian and character artiste Hema has shocked many by appearing for a degree entrance test in Nalgonda district. Hema on Sunday appeared for the degree entrance test of BR Ambedkar Open University exam held at NG college in Nalgonda. After completing the test, Hema has spoken to the media about her tryst with education and pursuing a bachelor’s degree has been her dream. She said she is quite busy with her films and couldn’t spare time for education. Hema said she has finally taken time to do a degree through open university.

Reasoning that why she appeared the entrance test in Nalgonda but not in Hyderabad, Hema said the increasing Covid cases in Hyderabad and recognition of people and traffic as the main reasons for opting Nalgonda as the exam center. She said she is shooting for her films at Ramoji Film City which is close to Nalgonda. She also added that she has many of her relatives in Nalgonda. She said these are the reasons for choosing Nalgonda as the exam center.

Hema’s original name is Krishna Veni. She hails from Razole in East Godavari district. Hema studied till seventh class and later discontinued her studies. Now, she is going to complete a degree from Ambedkar open university. Meanwhile, Hema has entered into politics. In 2014, she contested on Kiran Kumar Reddy’s Jai Samaikyandhra Party and lost from Mandapeta Assembly constituency. She is also quite active in Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA).
