Mega156: Costly VFX Spectacle, Bhallaladeva & More

Published by

Other day with just a single poster, already the makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s #Mega156, which was earlier referred to as #Mega157, grabbed all the attention. Right from the first concept poster, director Vassisht is making sure that the ‘fantasy’ element of the movie will grab all the eyeballs. And here is what we are hearing more about the film.

Apparently, the film heavily banks on visual effects we have revealed it long back, and the makers have already approached world-class Visual Effects Studios and CG companies to deliver cutting-edge graphics for the movie. It is going to be a pretty costliest movie in Chiranjeevi’s career, costlier than Sye Raa, as huge sets and others graphics works are needed. At the same time, the casting of the film is going to stun everyone too.

Reports are doing rounds that none other than Rana Daggubati will be playing the antagonist in the movie, as he is most likely to reprise the role of Lord Indra’s son in the movie, who has magical powers and different types of weapons in his kitty. Like the way Rana did magic with Bhallaladeva’s character in the Baahubali movie, he will be showcasing the true power of the antagonist yet again in this Chiranjeevi starrer.

And now, a team from Chennai is said to be building some micro models of a few set pieces that will be constructed for the movie. Those sets will feature a lot of fantasy elements including the architecture, design and also some different types of animals as mentioned in our epics. Looks like #Mega156 will mark the true blue comeback of Megastar to the silver screen with a unique work.
