On Tuesday, the Kerala police apprehended actor Vinayakan, known for his role in the film “Jailer,” on charges of creating a disturbance while intoxicated at a police station in Kochi.
The incident unfolded at the Ernakulam Town North police station in the evening, where the police had summoned the actor following reports of disruptive behavior at his apartment.
Subsequently, Vinayakan was arrested for causing a disturbance at the police station, as confirmed by a senior police officer. The officer also stated that Vinayakan was under the influence of alcohol and was taken to a nearby hospital for a mandatory medical examination.
It’s worth noting that the actor had previously posted a video on social media following the passing of former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, which was deemed disrespectful and insulting.
More developments on the case would be out soon.
