Director Tharun Bhascker who won National Award for his debut film Pelli Choopulu delivered another hit with his second movie Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi which performed well in its re-release as well. His third movie Keedaa Cola is up for release on November 3rd.
Tharun says they auditioned almost every actor in Keedaa Cola. “Jeevan, Vishnu, and other actors were cast, after the audition. Brahmanandam Garu and Raghu Garu who acted in the film are ideals for me. Raghu has a badass character in Roadies. It has come out naturally, as he played a similar character in the movie.”
The director informs his grandfather is the inspiration for Brahmanandam’s character, adding everyone will love it.
Tharun Bhascker looked confident in every promotional event and he discloses the reason. “Everyone enjoyed the preview in Mumbai. They laughed comfortably while watching the movie. We are providing laughs with a unique style of writing and taking. I’m sure that the audience will feel that Keedaa Cola is a Paisa Vasool entertainer.”
The movie has a perfect runtime of 2 hours. “We trimmed the movie by 15 minutes, as movies of crime comedy should be crisp. The narrative should be fast-paced. Keedaa Cola will be fast-paced and unique.”
Tharun Bhascker stated that he completed script work for Venkatesh’s film and works are underway for a web series.
