December, traditionally considered an off-season for film releases, is witnessing an unexpected surge this year with a slew of highly anticipated movies gearing up for release.
Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal,” Prabhas’ “Salaar,” and Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki,” and several other movies collectively representing a massive worldwide theatrical investment of approximately Rs 1000 crores.
In Tollywood, actors such as Nani, Varun Tej, Nithiin, and Vishwak Sen are set to test their luck with releases in December.
Nani’s “Hi Nanna,” is slated for release on December 7th, followed by Varun Tej’s “Operation Valentine” releasing in Hindi and Telugu on December 8th.
Nithiin’s “Extra Ordinary Man” is also scheduled for release on the same date, while Vishwak Sen’s “Gangs of Godavari” is expected in December.
The cumulative investment in December releases, encompassing various languages and territories, is estimated to be close to Rs 1000 crores.
