Buzz: Producer Who Refused To Buy This Film Is Happy

Apparently, some decisions lead to huge disasters and money loss for some producers and some producers are lucky enough to take that bold call of rejecting a few movies. One such thing has led to the ultimate happiness of this Telugu producer who has a close association with hero Raghava Lawrence, as the hero’s film Jigarthanda Double X released other day. 

In fact, Jigarthanda is a borefest for excitement lovers but then, it made very good business owing to the image and craze of the director Karthik Subbaraj as well as the leading hero Raghava Lawrence.

A couple of weeks before the release, the hero is said to have asked this local Telugu producer to buy out the whole theatrical rights of the movie for an exorbitant sum. However, looking at the trailer, the producer asked his friends for advice and backed out from the deal at the last minute. 

After the release, once the First Day First Show was over, the producer called up his friends to thank them for giving him good advice otherwise he would have lost crores of investment just in a split second. Lawrence was said to have literally run after him for a week to get the rights sold, but the Telugu producer refused to buy it, and now a rupee saved is a rupee earned for the latter.
