Rajamouli-Mahesh Film Based On Five Novels Series?

One of the biggest films in the making is none other than SS Rajamouli’s movie next which is coming after RRR, which has turned out to be a global phenomenon. Featuring Superstar Mahesh in the lead, this film’s pre-production work has been going on for some time and it is now coming out that acquiring rights to an international novel series is been successfully completed for the same.

Earlier, writer V Vijayendra Prasad has given enough leaks that the film’s base story is loosely based on popular writer Wilbur Smith’s novels that are set in the backdrop of Africa and its countries. Reports are now popping up that Rajamouli and his producer have acquired the rights to Wilbur Smith’s popular novels, The Ballantyne Novels, as they chronicle the lives of Ballantyne’s family and published over three decades of time. There are a total of 7 novels in this series, but different reports are emerging regarding the buying of the copyrights, as some sources revealed that only one novel in bought, and some revealed that all of them were bought.

Most probably Mahesh will kickstart the shooting of the movie once the film Guntur Kaaram releases, as he will be absolutely free from all the commitments by then.
