Chiru Not Leaving ‘Vintage Megastar’ Behind?

Megastar Chiranjeevi has been going through a rough patch at this moment with two big disasters in the last four films. Chiranjeevi’s Acharya ended up as a colossal flop but his Bholaa Shankar was trolled big time for being cringe to the core.

Amid this, the fans who have been waiting for proper success for their favorite star, Chiranjeevi gave them hope by signing in for a movie with Bimbisara director Vassisht. Also, the movie is said to be a socio-fantasy, the genre Megastar hasn’t touched recently.

Well, while many thought Chiranjeevi would be picking up an age-appropriate role that is trending amongst his contemporary stars, he is heard to have decided to appear as ‘Vintage Megastar’ for this movie as well. With the rumored title Viswambhara, Chiranjeevi will be seen in looks on par with Bholaa Shankar or Waltair Veerayya.

Needless to say, Chiru will be dancing to the songs also in the movie. A section of fans who want to see Chiru in a role like Kamal Haasan in Vikram or Rajinikanth in Jailer are heard to be not really amused with ‘vintage Chiru’ anymore.

In a recent book launch event, Chiranjeevi commented that he doesn’t want to do the roles that are elevated by the background music but wants to work hard, dance, and fight to enthrall the audience. Well, his dances and fights in a movie like Bholaa Shankar does not fetch anything and it has to be seen if Chiru picks a age-appropriate powerful role soon.
