This Friday Is A Real Test For ‘Star’ Kids

Usually, non-film folks working in the industry argue that ‘star kids’ have all the advantages of becoming stars because they will get so many opportunities. However, these days, whether it is star kids or outsiders, they are getting an equal number of offers, but then, what takes them to the next level is proving their ‘box office’ mettle only.

This Friday, we have two-star kids coming to the box office and they are none other than ‘mega’ family’s Vaishnav Tej and Rajasekhar-Jeevitha’s daughter Shivani, who got their films Aadikeshava and Kota Bommali PS respectively, lined up for release.

While Vaishnav has made a successful debut with Uppena, his later films like Konda Polam and Ranga Ranga Vaibhavamga failed to click at the box office. At the same time, Shivani’s Adbutham and WWW failed to release in theatres but got streamed directly on OTTs. Also, her minor roles in movies like Pelli SandaD and Sekhar seemed to be ineffective. She’s gearing up for her first big silver screen release with this remake of the Malayali film Nayattu.

Though both Vaishnav and Shivani have their next films rolling on the sets already, surely a box office success will ensure market backing for them. While Shivani majorly needs to prove herself as a performer through this artistic film, Vaishnav needs to show his potential to pull the masses with this masala entertainer. Will these two films change the fate of these star kids? Let’s see!
