The sensational filmmaker and actor Rishab Shetty who made Kantara, spoke about many things at the recent IFFA54 press conference. Rishab made many interesting revelations about his thought process on making pan India films and other language offers.
Rishab Shetty very clearly says he will stick to the Kannada film industry and will be focusing on Kantara at the moment. Rishab admits that he was offered big projects beyond the Kannada industry but he says he will want to pass.
Mentioning them all as beautiful opportunities, Rishab Shetty said he will not leave the Kannada industry and it is a sentiment for him. He says he will be very thankful to the Kannada audience who made Kantara such a big success it is and he wants to give the initial credit to the Kannada audience.
Rishab laughs off saying he is not the person who will leave the Kannada industry after scoring one big success. Rishab reveals his intent of making only Kannada films, that even though he makes the original Kannada film the content will have a global reach and the subject will be universal. Rishab says he believes the content can be dubbed with proper care in lip sync and all so the emotions can be carried in the same way they were intended.
Rishab Shetty’s Kantara The Legend first look poster was released the other day and it garnered huge response all over. Kantara is in contention at IFFI Goa.
